The concept here is to do a blues song with a typical theme, but transposed from ebonic metaphors into really awkward, white pop-psychology slang. The music is overly staccato to emphasize the tight-assed crackerness of this pop-psychology slang, but the harmonies are hell of dissonant, as if to suggest that despite the ass-tightness, caucasians can be emotionally tormented also.
